FAQ: ORDERING AND SHIPPING TIME FRAMES

 

MODERN AIRSOFT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES THAT ARE LOST, DELAYED, DAMAGED OR STOLEN UNDER THE CARE OF SHIPPING CARRIERS. LOST, DELAYED, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN PACKAGES WILL NOT BE REPLACED OR REFUNDED BY MODERN AIRSOFT. WE MAY FILE A CLAIM WITH THE SHIPPING CARRIER ON THEIR WEBSITE ON YOUR BEHALF. IF YOU REQUIRE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INSURANCE PLEASE EMAIL OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR A QUOTE. 

By placing your online order you are agreeing to our shipping policies with regard to lost, delayed, damaged or stolen product while in the care of the shipping carrier and do not hold Modern Airsoft or it’s entities responsible.  

 

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Ordering from ModernAirsoft.com is easy and secure. Create an account, add items to cart, add your shipping address, shipping method, payment info, review cart content and confirm order. 
HOW MANY COUPONS CAN I USE?
You can only use one coupon per order. You can not combine coupons.
DO YOU HAVE A CUTOFF TIME FOR ORDER PROCESSING?
Yes, orders that are received by 12:00 PM PST will ship within 72 business hours.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ORDER I JUST PLACED?
We will always try our best help you with any special requests; however, sometimes we are unable to accommodate changes. Please feel free to email customerservice@modernairsoft.com and one of our representatives will reach out to you with a response within 24-48 business hours.
WHAT CANNOT BE CHANGED?
Any order that has begun processing. Any request to add, change or cancel of an entire order or individual items will not be permitted. You can  return the item for store credit or exchange once the order is received – there is a 15% restock fee and the cost of shipping is at the expense of the customer.
WHAT CAN BE CHANGED?
All changes are taken into consideration depending on the stage of the order fulfillment. 
CAN I CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS AFTER I PLACE AN ORDER?
If your order hasn’t been began processing yet or it has not been shipped, we may be able to update your address. Please contact us immediately via email with URGENT in the subject. One of our customer service representatives will reach out to you as soon as possible; however, please note, we are closed on weekends.  Once the order has been sent to fulfillment and/or shipping we cannot make any changes.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We understand the importance of getting your items to you as fast as possible. Our shipping team is dedicated to make sure all orders are shipped on time. However, delivery time frame depends on what shipping method is chosen. All shipping time frames are from the date in which the order leaves our facility and NOT from the time in which the order is placed.

ORDER VERIFICATION DELAY
Effective January 1, 2020, California law requires age verification for airsoft guns and/or airgun purchases shipped and delivered within California. If you are placing an order for any of these items a customer service representative you may need you to verify your age by uploading a photo of your state or federal ID. Once your ID is uploaded and your age has been verified, you will not be required to verify again on future purchases and deliveries. 
WHAT IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED OR HAS MISSING ITEMS?
If you receive your order and items are missing or damaged, please notify via  email immediately at customerservice@modernairsoft.com. Please make sure to include a picture of the shipping packaging, as well as either the damaged item and/or if product is missing, a pic of what product you did received. This is required in order for Modern Airsoft to file a claim on your behalf with the shipping company. 
FRAUD PREVENTION
Our anti-fraud system automatically detects orders that are potentially fraudulent. Our policy is that any order that is red flagged for fraud is automatically cancelled (no exceptions), and you will be notified by our Anti-Fraud team of the flagging and cancellation. If you are shipping to a different address than your credit card billing address, your order may get flagged and our Anti-fraud department may contact you via email as a courtesy to ask you to verify the order information by uploading a picture ID that shows the ship to address, but this is not a guarantee as it is not a policy requirement.  Please be sure to provide a valid email and phone number so a team member can get in touch with you if they decide to reach out for verification and proof. Please also keep in mind that shipping to a non-billing address that gets flagged, if not automatically cancelled, may delay the processing and shipping of your order. 
*Any and all orders with their ship to and bill to differ is automatically flagged and an email will be sent out to the customer requesting verification.  
LIPO BATTERY SAFETY: 

ALWAYS keep Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries fully charged when storing after using battery


ALWAYS charge LiPo batteries using a LiPo balance charger


ALWAYS check battery for deformities, swelling, or signs of damage before using or charging the battery


ALWAYS store batteries in a cool, dry place between 40 and 80 degrees and in a LiPo safe bag or container


NEVER use a battery if it is swelled, damaged, or deformed


NEVER use a battery to 0% charge as it can not be recharged after being fully drained.   


NEVER let the positive and negative leads touch, this could lead to a short which will cause a FIRE


NEVER leave the charging batteries unattended. Keep watch on the charging process and react accordingly to any potential problems that may occur


NEVER use a NiCd/NiMH charger to charge a LiPo battery. ONLY use chargers designed to charge Lithium Polymer batteries.


If a LiPo battery begins to smoke, spark, or swell when plugged into a gun or charger, IMMEDIATELY unplug the battery and place it in a non-flammable, controlled area and observe the battery from a safe area for 30 minutes. If the battery appears to be stable, proceed to place battery in a LiPo safe bag or container and properly dispose of the battery


To dispose of a LiPo battery, take it to a battery recycling center.


WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?
Sometimes when an item is not yet in-stock in our warehouse, but we know that we will be getting a shipment in, we allow pre-orders for that item. Generally this happens when a new product is releasing to the market, and we allow customers to pre-order it before it releases. Sometimes we also allow pre-orders for items in between production batches when we are waiting on a restock shipment. All pre-orders are subject to special order timeframes and we do not guarantee delivery dates since we can not be sure when an item will come in. All items purchased in the same order as a pre-order item will ship at the same time as the pre-order item becomes available. We will not ship items separately. If you need items to ship separately you will need to place separate orders. A Pre-Order listed with an ETA is an estimated time as to when the manufacturer has indicated it may be available; however, due to covid, all manufacturers are experiencing product delays due to the containers being stuck in customs; therefore, we can not guarantee that an item will be available at that time and we have no control over any delays or pushback of the release date by the manufacturers.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
All International Orders will have to clear customs and we have no control over the length of time it takes to clear customs or get to it’s destination once it leaves our facility.
