Modern Airsoft Indoor Arena opens in San Diego County
We are so proud of our Modern Airsoft Indoor Arena! Our definition of success has never, and will never, be driven by profit but rather driven by the Airsoft experience as a whole. We are thrilled to be providing San Diego with an indoor facility that is fully modular (so you will not see the same field week after week) with concert quality chest thumping surround sound in addition to visual, lighting and fog effects. Our location is fully equipped with private and community air conditioned staging.

A nod to our past
The history of “airsoft” originated in Japan during the mid-1970s, mainly because it was illegal to own firearms by private individuals. The first airsoft guns available were spring-powered replicas of firearms that fired 6mm, plastic pellets or BBs. The airsoft gun then spread to China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines and became very popular chiefly because of firearm restrictions in these countries.
