Airsoft batteries are crucial for Airsoft Electric Guns, so be sure to pick one up if you don't have one already, or get an extra one for extended airsoft days or as a backup. There are two primary airsoft connector types, Mini Tamiya and Deans. Mini Tamiya connectors have a plastic exterior which appears yellowish/white. Deans connectors have a red base with two metal prongs sticking out in a 't' shape. Mini Tamiya is the most common connector type, but deans allows for higher performance. Make sure to buy a battery with the right type of connector as your gun, or purchase an adaptor. For more information on batteries, take a look at our article on the subject. If you don't know what type of battery your gun accepts, find out by looking at our Electric Airsoft Guns.
Don't Forget The Charger!
Airsoft batteries need to be charged and recharged, so get a charger compatible with your battery of choice. We recommend you choose a smart charger so that you can't overcharge your battery. This helps keep your equipment safe. Some chargers display your battery's current charge so you know exactly when they're ready to use!
